Attention all students: The Fargo Police Department’s Community Engagement Team is offering free boxing and self-defense classes. They have partnered with MMA fighter Mariah Prussia from MPX Fitness and Barbot Boxing LLC to offer these programs. The classes are aimed at teaching students life skills including respect, patience, time-management, coping skills, work ethic and self-discipline. If you are interested, please stop in Officer Savageau’s office for more information.
Want to know how to get along in the world? Listen to what one author had to say: Sooner or later a person __ if he or she is wise __ discovers that life is a mixture of good days and bad, victory and defeat, give and take. He learns that he who loses his temper usually loses. She learns that carrying a chip on her shoulder is the easiest way to get into a fight.* So what have you discovered about life? What are your rules for getting along with yourself and others? Today, make the time to write down your own personal rules of conduct. You might be surprised at how wise you already are.
