UPCOMING EVENTS
- Attention to 7th Grade Parents: A recent audit has found several students are missing the required documents for school enrollment. Please check to see if your student has brought home a letter from the health unit requesting copies of missing requirements. These records are needed ASAP.
- Glow Dance this Friday, November 8, from 4:00-6:00 at the BCMS gym. Concessions will be sold. Glow Sticks will be sold for a $1.00. Tickets will be on sale today and Thursday in the cafeteria at lunch. Cost is $5.00. Dance is sponsored by the Football Boosters.
- 2019 Deck The Halls sponsored by the Bath County Memorial Library and the Bath County Arts Council. A silent auction to aid the Bath County Arts Council in promoting the arts in Bath County Proceeds will go directly to the arts program in Bath County Schools. The event will be held on Saturday, December 7. Christmas Items can be delivered to the Bath County Memorial Library from Friday, November 29 through Thursday, December 5. Items may be viewed, and bids placed until Saturday, December 7. Online bidding ends at 3 pm. and live bidding ends at 4:59 p.m. Online bidding is on the events page of the Bath County Memorial Library.
SPORTS
- Congratulations to the 8th Grade Boys Basketball team on their victory on Monday, November 4, at home versus Montgomery Co. The 6th and 7th Grade teams gave a good effort, but fell short. There will be practice today.

SCHOOL NEWS
- BCMS Veterans Day Program will be held on Friday, November 8, 2019 at 1:30 pm in the BCMS gym. All Veterans are invited to attend! BCMS Thanks you for your service! All visitors coming to the school must show an id to go thru the building.
- There will be No Academic practice today, it will be tomorrow.
- There will be NO STLP practice today.
- Ms. Moriarity's is offering tutoring today until 5:30 pm. today.
- The 2nd bus for the 8th Grade DC trip has been started. We have about 30 seats to fill. If you want to go and haven't made your deposit see Mrs. Beth McNabb before Tuesday before Thanksgiving. If parents want to go, deposits need to be made at this time also.
- STLP is offering a technology Help desk for teachers, staff, and students who need help with technology issues. Teachers and staff please check your email for a form that you can fill out anytime you need tech help.
- Any Beta Student interested in running for club offices, please sign up outside Ms. Ballman's door. Beta service hours log sheets are also available outside Ms. Ballman's door. Remember you need 15 hours to stay in Beta.
- 2020 Yearbooks are on sale! Cost is $25.00. Please see Mrs. Colwell if you would like to purchase a yearbook.
