From the Principal
It has been a busy week at Monroe Elementary. Unfortunately, with the wind chills this week we have had a couple of days of indoor recess. During indoor recess, we are utilizing our gym and library as much as possible so that our students can have a break from their classroom space and be able to be more active.
Next week, we are in school on Monday and Tuesday due to the Thanksgiving holiday. We will be having STEM days that will involve all of our students. All of the Monroe students will be divided into 8 different groups. Each group will have students of all grade levels in them. During the two days, each group will be rotating to 8 different Stem stations for activities. The Monroe teachers chose a teacher partner and each partnership is running a station. I will post pictures of these two educational, fun-filled days next week.
