Opening Up! - Forthcoming WEEK!!
We had another AWESOME week on "The Hill" and I'm excited about our FIRST EVER Forthcoming week! We have a great week planned for our kids that will be kicked off this Sunday with our Community Paint Party! Our goal is for our campus to DECKED OUT with Forthcoming Spirit Signs to support our kids. So if you are looking for a fun way to spend a couple hours this Sunday from 2pm - 5pm please come by and check it out!
I've gotten a lot of questions lately about why we are calling this year's week "Forthcoming" and not "Homecoming". The reason is that when you are brand new school you do not have any graduated seniors that would be coming home to RHHS. Therefore, we call this year "Forthcoming" in preparation for next year's "Homecoming".
I am also excited that on Wednesday our Hope Squad will be promoting "Unity Day" to raise awareness against Bullying and be united for kindness. In conjunction with our FOCO spirit day we will also be encouraging students/staff to wear ORANGE. This is just another example of the phenomenal job our Hope Squads to throughout the district to promote a positive culture of acceptance in PISD.
I hope everyone has a GREAT week and GO ROCK!!!

Tips for Staying Healthy at School
Avoid close contact with anyone- close contact = closer than 6 feet (about 2 arms’ length) for more than 15 minutes. We make allowances at school for people wearing masks- but still please keep your distance- 3 feet minimum to help prevent the spread of coronavirus.
*Tip-- If you can reach you arm out fully extended and touch the other person- you are too close.
Wear your mask at all times in public- covering your nose and mouth fully
Avoid touching your mask, face, mouth, nose and eyes
Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash and wash your hands
Please stay home when you are sick!
Please check the Daily online self-screener before coming to school or any PISD activities- if you answer yes to any of the questions, please stay home and respond to the screener. Click Rock Hill, answer the questions and submit. I will call you and discuss before you can come to campus.

Parent and Guardians,
We are so excited to be a part of the opening of Rock Hill High School and laying the foundation for the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). July started with a great boost with an amazing membership drive. As parents and guardians, we believe that we all have similar goals. We want our children and the students attending Rock Hill to laugh, to be challenged, to be entertained and to feel the support of those around them. PTO is here with the students and teachers in mind. Every decision PTO makes is with the focus of each and every student and teacher. We encourage you to join the PTO and stay connected with all upcoming PTO sponsored events.
Should you have any questions, comments or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to use via email at rockhillhighpto@gmail.com.
