Children's' Fund: Grants awarded once per year, per child to help fund enriching activities such as dance classes, summer camps, sports participation, music lessons or any other extra-curricular activity that enriches your student's life.
Staff Initiated Funding: This year alone, FONPS has supported teacher funding requests that include sensory tool kits, research databases, and online science activities and support. In years past, we generously supported field trips to the Boston Museum of Science and Nature's Classroom, early literacy books and materials, learning games, Quiz Bowl travel, Plimoth Plantation experiences, Chess Club and a host of other experiences.
Corky Ranney Community Scholarship: Each year the Friends awards up to two community service scholarships named in honor of Corky Ranney, a founding member of the Friends Board. These scholarships are awarded to graduating senior(s) who demonstrate high academic achievement and a dedication to community service.
