Remember Board Elections are coming up

Nominations are open for the Triennial School Board Elections.

These elections happen every 3 years and will take place in September - and nominations are now open.

The school board is key in supporting the principal and senior leadership team in ensuing effective teaching and learning for all students through informed governance.


Parents and caregivers and people in the wider community can be parent representatives. Our school board need to represent the diversity of our school community to ensure all our ākonga /students are empowered for success, now and in the future.


We need individuals willing to use their skills and experience for the benefit of our kura. If you are interested in finding out more about nominating yourself or someone else, and/or would like more information about how the school board functions please contact in the first instance, Vikki Tough - our Returning Officer on 06 8789766 or vtough@raureka.school.nz who will either answer your query or direct you to our board members.

Nomination forms and further information will be sent out in mid-July.
