Flaa's Monday Memo

Great Things I Noticed Last Week!

  • We had some GREAT discussions during our first data meeting! The conversation between Coach McFarland and Ms. Musick showed just how powerful these meetings can be...Did you know students can practice their inferencing skills in Art class?

  • Teachers leaning on each other...We have colleagues who are enduring hard times in their lives. We are family, keeping lifting them up!

  • Mrs. Chancellor's class designing their own Khoot! Student-authored test questions improve critical thinking...Great Job!

  • Mrs. Esparza discussing the importance of GPA to our Freshman. We must keep reminding them how important Freshman year is to THEIR FUTURE!

You must intentionally plan to promote student engagement and to teach for access, rigor, and transfer. LEAD4WARD CAN HELP YOU DO JUST THAT!

Something to Think About!

WHEN YOU SPEAK TO PARENTS, ACCENTUATE THE POSITIVE.

LEAD WITH STRENGTHS, AND IF YOU CAN'T FIND THEM, LOOK HARDER.
