News from Fourth Grade
Winter Break - School will resume Monday, January 4th, 2016!
Holiday Homework
While you enjoy your time off, there are just a few things I’d like you to work on :)
Reading: I challenge all of you to complete the Winter Break Reading Challenge! Every one of you should be reading at least 30 minutes a night anyway, so why not make it a little more fun by reading with your pet or in your pajamas or to a family member!
Please complete this challenge (in Friday Folder) and have it ready to turn in on Monday (1/4/16)!
Math: We can all always use a little math practice to keep our minds fresh! Use xtramath.org to work on math facts and IXL to practice skills we’ve been working on in class, like word problems (4th grade: B.2, C.2, E.2, F.2, F.4).
*OPTIONAL (in Friday Folder): The Twelve Days of Christmas word problem (due 1/4/16)*
Writing: Young Authors is quickly approaching! Over break, think about what you could write about and start making a plan.
Most of all, enjoying spending time with your family and friends! I can’t wait to see you all back in 2016!
