About Us

History and Philosophy of Science Student Association (HPSSA)

We are an undergraduate student group in Lyman Briggs at Michigan State University. History, Philosophy, and Sociology of Science, often shortened HPS, plays an integral part in Lyman Briggs by bridging the sciences and humanities in student education.

Bi-weekly meetings will include, but are not limited to, speaker events with HPS faculty, panels, help navigating the graduate/medical school application process, movie nights, and laid-back group discussions about captivating HPS topics.
