Health Reminder
This week we saw a rise in COVID cases. Please remain diligent in keeping students home if they are sick and testing as needed. Masks continue to be available to those who would like to wear one. Please direct questions to Sherisse at ssalter@sau39.org
Mental Health Awareness Month
Mental Health Awareness Month was established in 1949 to increase awareness of the importance of mental health and wellness in Americans’ lives. We have all witnessed the effects that the COVID-19 epidemic has had on our communities, representing an acceleration of the mental health trends observed prior to 2020. At Souhegan, we have made a commitment to supporting our youth by openly discussing mental health topics, destigmatizing help seeking, and sharing tips and resources. As a parent, it can be difficult to open up conversations about mental health. Please feel free to reach out to student services to discuss your student, or use these tip sheets as a guide.
