Message from Dr. Kaminski
BSE Parents and Community,
January has gone quickly and so has the material in our Collaboratory! The MakerSpace continues to attract students during their project work, providing a place where they can apply their thinking in a fully constructive manner.
I write today with one request: PLEASE HELP US STOCK OUR MAKERSPACE FOR THE REST OF THE SEMESTER!
The list below contains items that we can never have too much of in stock! We appreciate you and any donation you could send our way! We will also take anything that you might throw away. Deliver it and I'll go through it!
Glue Guns and Glue S
Glue Sticks - Regular (NEED THESE REAL BAD!)
Wood Shapes (small)
Corks (We air them out in the tech room so they do not cause issues with smell prior to use!)
Any small metal items

It's Box Top Time!!
It's a quick, easy way to earn money for BSE. If you have been saving box tops, its time to turn them in. If you haven't - start clipping! Box tops can be found on hundreds of grocery and household products such as Green Giant veggies, Nature Valley granola products, Annie's Organic items and much much more.
Please clip box tops as close to the dotted line as possible, make sure your submitted box tops are not expired, and send in with your student either affixed to the collection sheet or in a Ziploc baggie in groups of 25. Either way, make sure to label your submission with your child's name, homeroom teacher, and grade level so they get credit.
Prizes will be awarded for the top individual students, as well as a for the top collecting classroom. Collection runs between now and spring break.
