Map Testing

Map Testing will begin tomorrow May 1- May 11th for 3rd and 4th grade students.

We will be offering our 3rd and 4th graders FREE Breakfast on testing dates.

Attendance is very important..every day! Please make every effort for your child to be at school. If he/she is sick, we will have make up days times on Friday.

Remind students they can't wear their Garmin/Apple/Verizon watches during the test.

Encourage your child to start each day with a good, healthy breakfast. This helps with stamina and brain power!

Get to bed on time and rest up, for good concentration and focus. Please encourage your child to get plenty of rest these two weeks!

Please leave your child an encouragement word each day. Mornings can be difficult and stressful for many, so leaving your child with a kind word can change the course of the day.

We have the younger grades cheering them on throughout the testing period and will have small items of encouragement that will be handed out as well each day.

Get a good nights rest.

Eat a good breakfast.

Come ready to test.

Stay focused.

Do your best.

Knob Noster App

Knob Noster Team,

Our district has a new mobile app, and we invite you to download it to have district information and resources conveniently at your fingertips on your smartphone or tablet! Search ‘Knob Noster Public Schools’ in the App Store or on Google Play to download.

The mobile app is the second phase of our new communications platform with SchoolMessenger after the rollout of all new websites this year. The app provides quick access to information with a few easy clicks, and you can choose which schools you wish to view calendar events, news, notifications, and directory information. You also have direct feeds to district social media and easy access to all school websites by clicking the 'Schools' icon.

The new app went live in late March, and many of you may have downloaded the app already. We have worked on a few updates since the app published before releasing an official announcement to all staff and the community. To ensure you have the most current version of the app, click ‘OK’ to accept updates to the app. Watch for the notifications feature, community flyers, and school supplies lists to be added in the near future.

District messaging will be emailed to parents and shared on social media. Privacy and permission safeguards will also be provided to parents in the email message. Attached is the document outlining those safeguards.

Please share our new mobile app in your parent communications as well. https://launch.customschoolapp.net/knob-noster-public-schools/ We encourage our older Panther students who have smartphones to download the app to stay connected! As appropriate, feel free to display the launch page in your classroom to help spread the word in the coming days and weeks. Flyers will be available soon to post in all buildings.

I hope you find the app is a convenient and useful tool to stay connected. If you have any questions about the new app, please contact me.

Proud to be a Panther!

PTO Board 2018-2019

Congratulations on filling the PTO Board 2018-2019 school year. Due to having only one person running for each position, a voting does not have to occur. There is a vacancy for PTO Board President position for the 2018-2019. If interested, please attend the PTO meeting on May 14th. All new board members, please attend the 14th meeting to exchange all documents from this year.

PTO Board President-UNFILLED

PTO Vice President-Amy Williams

I have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education but am currently staying home while my children are young but would love to still be involved in the school. I have previously worked in a school system and helped coordinate fundraisers and other events at the school.

PTO Treasurer-Kelly Quilez

I am great at math, I love being involved with school activities, and would love a chance at helping the school find new exciting opportunities to earn money that benefits to all students.

PTO Secretary & Book Fair Coordinator-Ruth Sprigg

I like to serve our military community by giving my time. I think it's important to help my children's school since the school/teachers are giving their time to help my children. By being a part of PTO, I can bring my time and ideas to help out a great organization.

Box Top Coordinator-Andrea Borzsei

Please let the office know if you will be moving at the end of the school year or not coming back in August. This will help us with classroom placements for the 2018-2019 school year. As soon as you know, please let us know so we can begin getting your paperwork complete and have it ready for you on time. Thank you!
