Believe it or not, we're already at the second week of Advent! Below is a prayer exercise you may like.

Pope Francis: Tweeter of Justice

Pope Francis sent out some excellent tweets this week on our current Maverick Value: JUSTICE. Check them out:

Pope Francis @Pontifex · Dec 2

Slaves no more. We are all brothers and sisters. #EndSlavery

Pope Francis @Pontifex · Dec 2

The Church is called to draw near to every person, beginning with the poorest and those who suffer.

Pope Francis @Pontifex · Nov 21

When we meet a person truly in need, do we see the face of God?

The Basis For Our Values

Our values, such as our current one of JUSTICE, are rooted in the life of the person Jesus of Nazareth. One of the sources we have consistently looked to in forming and developing our Values is Catholic Social Teaching. Please see the link below for a solid primer on CST.

Growth Mindset From A Physical Perspective

The Growth Mindset is not limited to purely mental, or academic, pursuits. It can be used to improve your spiritual fitness as well as your physical fitness, as is detailed in the article below.
