Summer Resources
Summer 2022
The CMSD Fab Lab is excited to offer many Fab workshops this summer. Please read over the information about each workshop below and check out the PD Calendar to register for events you are interested in!
Intro to 3D Printing Workshop
This workshop is designed for folks who are new to 3D printing or aren't completely comfortable. We will go over the basics of how 3D printing works, do a little designing using Tinkercad.com and some printing of your own. If you're interested you can complete the 3D printing homework on your own time and then return to the Fab Lab to rent a 3D printer for your own classroom from the Lending Library.
Intro to Vinyl Cutting / Electric Cutting Workshop
This workshop is designed for folks who are new to vinyl cutting or aren't completely comfortable. The CMSD Fab Lab uses Silhouette Cameos and Silhouette Studio. This is a powerful machine that can cut vinyl, paper, fabric and more. Projects you can make with this machine include labels, logos, stickers, heat press shirts, water bottles, silhouettes, nets and more! If you are interested you can complete the Vinyl Cutting homework on your own time before coming back to the Fab Lab to rent a Silhouette Cameo of your own from the Lending Library.
