T3 Grade/Pass Option Deadline:
Grade/Pass Option agreements are due via online registration by Tuesday, May 3rd. Students may take up to 1 class per trimester on a Grade/Pass Option basis. This option allows students to explore their interests in challenging subjects without the risk of negatively impacting their grade point average. The decision to take the grade or the pass is ultimately made at the end of the trimester. Filling out the form does not require the student to take the Pass.
More information and the online registration can be found HERE
Peer Tutors Needed for Trimester 3!
The Counseling Office is in need of Peer Tutors. We need help from students with excellent grades and who like to help others. Students can click on the link below to sign up to BE a Peer Tutor. Once students complete the form, they will be added to a list of available peer tutors. A counselor or counseling office secretary will contact the tutor via Schoology when we find a match.
Contact your counselor if you have questions. Thanks for volunteering to help a fellow Wildcat!
**We will send a registration link soon for students to BE tutored! Stay tuned!

73rd Annual Boys State
The American Legion Auxiliary Minnesota Boys State is a program in government and good citizenship for young men sponsored by the Minesota American Legion. (ALA)
ALA Minnesota Boys state is a practical training program in local state government in which selected boys participate in actual learning experiences. We attempt to (1) illustrate to the boys the principles of representative form of government, (2) arouse an enduring interest in governmental affairs. Boys State is a functional practice of democratic activities. Its citizens will apply knowledge already acquired concerning politcal machinery of commonwealth. They will receive additional instruction from competent men in selected fields. Citizens choose their own officials in accordance with regular election procedures. They organize and operate their own city, county and state governments. Bills are introduced and debated in their legislature. Justice is administered by their own law enforcement agencies and courts. In Boys State, the young citizen has the opportunity to learn that his government is just what he makes it. The Constitution and the Statutes of the State of Minnesota are the patterns from which the fundamental laws of Legion Boys State have been developed. Thus, Boys State should be thought of as an imaginary 51st state, constructed by its citizens to govern themselves. Every boy for whom application is made to boys state must be sponsored by an American Legion Post. The Daniel R. Olsen Post # 594 in Eagan can sponsor at least one applicant.
Minnesota Boys State will be held June 12th to June 18th, 2022 at Saint John's University Campus. Boy Staters will report on campus starting at 1:00 pm on Sunday, June 12th and will start to organize soon after arrival, and the program will close after breakfast on Saturday, June 18 at approximately 9:00 AM. Boys state is open to all boys regardless of race, color or national origin. Only students finishing their junior year of high school, and who will be seniors in the following term of school are eligible to participate in Boys Sate. Boys must be chosen from among students who are in the upper one-half of their class scholastically. The following qualifications must be considered in determining eligibility:
1) A leader.
2) Able to get along with others.
