Flu Shots Available

On November 5th, the Health Department will be providing Flu Shots on site. In order to receive a flu shot your child must have a completed consent form. We sent forms home with your child and have additional copies available in the main office.

Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled for the Junior High building on

November 7th and 8th from 4pm - 7pm.

Teachers will be available to meet with families individually on a first come first serve basis. We ask that you keep conferences to 5 minutes per subject area in order to allow all of our families an opportunity to meet with teachers.


During this time we will also be conducting our annual building survey that we would love for you to complete while you wait. We will have Chromebooks available for your use.

Oct. 31st

At the JH students are beyond the age of classroom parties to celebrate Halloween. We understand that many students are still very excited for the day. If your child would like to wear a costume to school on Oct. 31st we ask that they meet the following guidelines:



  • Costumes must follow the dress code
  • Costume must allow the student to still fully participate in all classes including PE
  • Costumes should not be a distraction in the classroom
  • Students are not allowed to wear masks that cover their entire face. We must be able to identify students at all times for security purposes.
  • Look alike weapons are not permitted
  • We ask that the use of blood and gore is minimal.




Our goal is to insure that Halloween is a fun and safe experience for everyone at CCS.

Yearbooks are on sale now!! You can order online by clicking here.

Through the online portal you can add personalization and other add-ons.


If you would prefer not to order online you can send in $20 cash or checks written to Coloma Community Schools.


Yearbooks will be distributed in May.

K-Wings Field Trip

Students that have registered for the K-Wings trip received a permission slip on Friday. A signed permission slip must be turned in for your child to attend this trip.


Students attending will depart CJH at 9:15am and return at approximately 2:00pm. They will be provided with a sack lunch at the game. Concession stands will be open as well as souvenir stands. Students should bring additional money if they would like to purchase anything additional at the game.

8th Grade Mackinac Island Trip

Any students that are interested in attending the Annual 8th Grade Mackinac Island Trip scheduled for June 3-5, there are still 4 spots available.
