In the Classroom!
Happy New Year! Our class is almost full. We will be completely full when 2 of our friends from the Scouts/Stuarts turn 3 at the end of this month.
This January, in science, we will be talking about how we can make rock candy, testing our sense of taste with different baby foods, and talking about how some vegetables or fruits can look the same but may be very different. In art this month, we will be painting with beet juice, bubble wrap, and pompoms, we will also be making a penguin craft, and painting a pet rock! Finally, taste Tuesday will be exciting as always as we taste plantains, rosemary crackers, and have our baby food taste test!
Remind Me App: It's a free app that we're using to for simple reminders like show and share, friend of the week, physical due dates, etc. Our class code is 26kh9g

TTS Parents are the BEST!!!!
Tax Time is Approaching...
Dear Tot Spot Families,
I am sending this email because we are getting close to the end of the year and therefore close to tax season. Because of our changes from Rapid Tuition to Tuition Express there will be two-year end summaries (a mid year summary for Rapid Tuition and a year-end summary). I emailed all our families when we transferred from Rapid Tuition at the time of the change, so please check your email history for that email. As far as Tuition Express, every family has direct access to your billing receipts through www.myprocare.com . If you have already signed up with www.myprocare.com you are ahead of the game. However, if you have not, you can register from this link www.myprocare.com. You will use the email you received this message from to login. If you have any problems, please let me know.

The Book Nook
The Day the Crayons Quit
One of the Sawyer got this book in our book exchange, and it was just too cute! When A little boy arrives at school one morning, he finds a stack of letters, one from each of his crayons, listing reasons why they each quit. The letters are funny and the pictures from each of the crayons goes perfectly with them!

- Is there ever a time when you say to yourself, " I wonder if The Tot Spot would want this"? We could use it in so many ways. You may have babies, but the whole school is yours. Everything can turn into a sensory activity or learning experience. So, before you throw out your junk, ask your teacher if it could be used
The Teacher's Spotlight
Question: Would you rather be able to be invisible for a day or fly for a day and why?
- Ms. Crystal: I would choose to be able to fly because I have driving anxiety and I’d be able to navigate better.
- Ms. Rachel: I would rather be able to fly for a day! I’ve always wanted to be able to fly!
- Ms. Alisha: Neither. I’d rather be able to read people’s minds. But if I have to choose invisible so I can move things around and prank people. (Nothing important of course)
- Mr. Mike: Fly so I could see from a different prospective
- Ms. Le Andra: I would rather be invisible. I'm a nosy person so I could gets lot of information if nobody knew I was there!
- Ms. Katie: I would rather be able to fly for a day. I'd spend my day traveling as far and wide as I could to see new things.
Ms. Erin: I'd rather be invisible because then you could find out what your friends and coworkers really think of you
Ms. Maggie: I would want to fly. I would want to fly because i could get more done in a day if I could fly
Good Bye Ms. Danielle
Tot Spot Parents,
I want to first off thank you for all that you do. You have all been so amazing to me while I have been here. Thank you for letting me get to know and love your kiddos like they are my own. It has truly been a pleasure getting to know each and every one of them and watching them grow and become who they are.
My last day will be January 4th.
Again, I have been extremely blessed while working here and from the bottom of my heart thank you for all being so kind in opening your arms and being such a great second family for me.
I will never forget you or your children. I hope you all the best
