Building Children Of Character
St Joseph's Institution International Elementary School
Register now for the upcoming series of Workshops
Being a parent is the most complex, challenging and important activity we will ever undertake. We are our children’s first and most important educators, yet we receive little or no training in how to do it!
Would you like your children to:-
… listen and cooperate more respectfully?
… resolve their conflicts peacefully and fairly?
… be more responsible and confident?
These workshops offer parents five powerful tools to help you build your children’s character. These 5 strategies are the basis of the globally recognised Virtues Project that underpins the character education programme of our school
Four Workshops Held Over Consecutive Tuesdays
Workshop 1 - 26th April
How to use positive empowering language in a way that further encourages your child to be responsible, confident, assertive, honest and kind.
Workshop 2 - 3rd May
How to seize opportunities at home to cultivate character and set clear boundaries to ensure respect for all family members.
Workshop 3 - 10th May
How to use an effective counselling tool to support and mentor your child when they face moral dilemmas or need to resolve conflict
Workshop 4 - 17th May
