Principal's Newsletter

From the Desk of Ms. Clark

September 17, 2020

Dear Parents,

Pope Francis says: "Nothing is impossible for God's mercy. Even the most tangled knots are loosened by His grace." We have made it through almost two full weeks of school, and I am so proud of our SKD students.

The energy of our school community has been so wonderful as we started this school year. We are truly blessed.

  • How blessed we are to have such great students who are so cooperative!
  • How blessed we are to have such great teachers who are so capable and so flexible to make adjustments as needed!
  • How blessed we are to have God on our side as we all navigate the complexities of our lives with the joys and struggles.

I pray that we continue to all stay strong. Many have asked how they can help. Please continue to pray for the health of our community, families, teachers, staff, and students. Help as your means permit with the financial opportunities of our upcoming fundraisers, annual fund, and matching grants.

Remember, we are all in this together! How blessed we are that God brings us together as a school family that believes in a common mission. Our God is so good! God definitely has been good to SKD! We are truly blessed!

God’s blessings,

Ms. Clark

Morning Arrival Drop-Off

IMPORTANT Reminder: As you drive through the car line and stop, make sure the children get out of the car on the school side (passenger side) only.

Symptom Screening Tool

The attached tool must be completed each day before coming to school. All parents are primarily responsible for monitoring the health of their children. While it is our intention to remain open for the entire school year, parents are expected to do their part and keep their children home when they are sick.
