What Happened Last Week..
What Will Happen This Week....
Matt and Molly
In our story Matt and Molly have a cold fish and they put a hat on the fish bowl to warm it up. We will read the story and work on answering what, where, who, when, and yes/no questions regarding our new story this week.
Table Time
Tuesday - Name recognition ocean sensory bag - Add hair gel to the freezer bag. Squish it around and make sure there is enough in there so it spreads throughout the entire
bag. You want it to be squishy and not flat. Add a few drops of blue food coloring or liquid water color. Squish it all around again. Cut small fish shapes out of craft foam. Write the letters of your child's name on them. Open the freezer bag and add them. Zip the bag again. Use the tape to lock in the seal.
Thursday - MOTOR GROUP- Our occupational and physical therapist will be implementing theme-oriented fine and gross motor activities during this time.
Friday - Science/Sensory - Does it sink or float?Ask the children if they know what it means to sink or float? (When item goes to the bottom of the water, we say it sinks and if stays on top of the water if floats.) We will experiment to see which items float in the water and which ones sink.
