Trippin' Out on Augmented Reality
What if you could make the world our students see MORE interactive? Embed a layer of information over the reality they perceive? Changing static text into a video with the blink of an eye. This is possible with Augmented Reality (AR). Learn how to create AR & implement it in your classroom!

Better than a WOW-Factor, it's an Are-You-Serious-Factor?!
Students are so in-tune with the digital world that they often don’t want to read some boring old textbook. Plug students into a printed text with Augmented Reality! Participants in this workshop will learn about using different AR apps embed digital information on to actual reality.
Imagine your students being able to link into your webpage, email or tweet answers to questions, or see comments, webpages, and other valuable information right on the pages of their textbooks. Or just having the textbook come to life? Sound like something you saw in a science fiction flick? With a smartphone or a tablet and Augmented Reality software, you can turn science fiction into science fact! Participants in this workshop will learn about different AR apps (all for free!) as well as how to use the apps to embed digital information on to actual reality.
