Spring Family Night

Thanks to all who came out for our annual Spring Family Night! We had fun playing BINGO for Books and gearing up for spring with a BIKE GIVE AWAY! Thanks to our sponsors: Collins Equipment, Ramsey Tile, Knights of Pythias, and Thorntown PTO. Additional funds were provide through our Title 1 grant. Thanks for Mrs. Lester for the Science Fair display and Mrs. Burgin for the Art Show!

Need to Know Info...

IREAD-3/ILEARN Testing: We had perfect attendance for IREAD3 testing and wrapped that up last week! ILEARN testing for grades 3-8 will run between April 18-May 13. A more detailed schedule for ILEARN will be available closer to the start of that testing window.

PreK/Kindergarten Round Up: We will host two identical Round Up sessions on March 15 (6pm) and March 16 (9am). We will share info about our programs and our school. Parents will also begin the enrollment process, so you will not miss any important back-to-school details this spring. Staffing decisions are made based on our enrollment, so it is always helpful to know as early as possible who is joining our TES family. Please spread the word and plan to join us if you have a student ready to head to school this fall!

Art/PE: A BIG THANKS goes to Mrs. Burgin for the wonderful art lessons throughout the year and the amazing displays of student work! We switch back to PE this quarter and welcome Mr. Mikesell back to Thorntown. Watch for info about Jump Rope for Heart to come home after spring break!

Heart & Sole Donations Reward: Our students donated 433 pairs of shoes! They were also recognized with the first ever "Hard Worker Impact Award" for going above and beyond with helping to sort, bag, and load up shoes. We are so proud of these kids! To celebrate we will have a spirit day and movie parties in each class on 3/25!

Congrats to our Science Fair 2022 Winners!
