1. Congratulations to our 2019-2020 Teacher of the Year . . . Mrs. Rachel Smith (1st Grade). She was chosen by her colleagues for her love of teaching, teamwork, and positive attitude. Mrs. Smith will be recognized at the GCCSC Staff opening breakfast at the beginning of next school year.

3. Does your student or family need support during this extended eLearning experience? Check out the Student & Family Support @ Weston document in the download section . . . it has all kinds of info to support you and your kids during this time away from school.
4. Is your family, or someone you know, in need of Resources during the COVID-19 Pandemic? Check out the download section below for a document titled Resources for Families.
5. FREE School Meal Kits for all children 18 and under can be picked up on April 20th. See the flyer below for details.
6. Do you need Tech Support for your child’s GC iPad? If so, email support@gcsc.k12.in.us with your student’s name, school and issue. From this point forward, they will be doing in person support through appointments only.
7. Do your kids need something to look forward to this summer? Camp Invention is coming to J.B. Stephens Elementary on July 13-17! Watch this Camp Invention 2020 video to get a preview of what students will experience. The National Inventors Hall of Fame also compiled this At Home STEM Activity Guide for families.
We now have $100 scholarships available to help families send their children to camp! A huge thanks goes out to our community partners: Hancock Health, Duke Energy and Greenfield-Central School Foundation. Complete this Camp Invention Scholarship Form to receive scholarship support. (If we have to cancel or change camp dates, full refunds will be issued to parents.)
