EVERY KID HEALTHY WEEK
Join us in celebrating Every Kid Healthy Week 2022! Our school communities have been working hard to help students recover from gaps and disruptions in learning due to the pandemic. Now is the time to lean on each other and celebrate the wins in your school. Every year, Every Kid Healthy Week events across the country celebrate how schools and families are working together to help children grow up into healthy adults.
Everyone can celebrate EKHW 2022 in different ways! Whether you’re an educator, parent, caregiver, or community member, there are plenty of EKHW ideas and resources to help you celebrate:
- Check out our Every Kid Healthy Week Toolkit. This toolkit includes materials to help you organize, promote, and celebrate the week within your school community. Sign up today to get started on planning your week!
- Register your school’s event. By registering your school's event, AFHK is able to share success stories and highlight your events on social media.
- Share on social media using #EKHW22. Share your creativity and inspire others to celebrate by sharing your celebrations on social media!
- Host an Every Kid Healthy Week celebration. Use the ideas and activities found on this webpage to brainstorm ways to celebrate!

This month we are talking about Responsibility! The dictionary talks about Responsibility in a few ways: duty, accountability, and the independence to make decisions. REMINDERS FOR OUR CROCKETT FAMILIES:
MATH CORNER: Math Fact Fluency
Math fact fluency is the ability to quickly recall addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division math facts through conceptual learning, fact strategies, and memorization.
Math fluency is important because it…
- contributes to students’ ability to solve more difficult problems quicker and more accurately.
- leads to success in students’ future mathematics courses and careers.
- builds confidence in students’ math ability.
This year, each grade level has made a commitment to a set of facts. We look forward to working together to ensure mastery of our math fact commitments!
- Kinder-Addition 0-5
- 1st Grade-Addition 0-10
- 2nd grade-addition and subtraction 0-10
