Learning in the Library
Here's what's happening at the Worcester Library
So what's this all about?
Students and parents have asked to hear more about what happens in the Library. Learning in the Library will let us at Worcester share what we've been doing with you at home.
Now that's a lot of trash!
You can read more about it here.
The perfect illustrator!
This YouTube video shows how the book was made.
We still have too much trash!
However, did you know that there is an enormous collection of trash in the middle of the Pacific Ocean?
In this video, Bill Nye visits the North Pacific Gyre where a huge expanse of trash floats in the ocean. This video is not recommended for younger viewers as it does show sea animals in distress. Yet environmental issues and concerns are well worth discussing.
