They'll be sent to the junior high this Friday for testing.

Battle of the Books
The library will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday mornings for Battle of the Books. Library classes are cancelled but the computer lab is available.
Birthday Books
The LMC is now in charge of distributing birthday books. We'd love feedback on the current method of calling two grade levels at a time during morning announcements. We know there isn't a magical perfect time for everyone (including us!) but we don't want to cause major disruptions.
If you have a student who is absent you may send them to the office anytime to pick out a book. We are not checking off students.

Teaching Books
Did you know that you can go to a website that has already found a bunch of fantastic websites to help you teach a specific book? Teaching Books is available through the Skokie Public Library with your teacher library card number: http://tinyurl.com/teachbooksSPL. Your last name is Highland School.
VCRs
Just a reminder that VCRs will no longer be supported by the tech department after this year. We'll be weeding the last of our VHSs from our library collection this summer.
