Year End Medication Information
If your child has medication here at school, especially prescription medication, please make arrangements to pick up the medicine before the school year ends. We cannot send home medication with your child at the end of the school year.
Any medication that is not picked up from the clinic will be destroyed.
If your child will need prescription medication for the 2021-2022 school year, please feel free to pick up a "Request for Administration of Medication by School Personnel" form at the office or download from the PLSD website @ www.pickerington.k12.oh.us
Final Reminders
Junior High Sports
Parents please be sure to watch the Junior High websites for important information regarding sports/cheerleading meetings and try-outs.
7th gr. Immunization information
Immunizations Requirements for all 6th graders
going into 7th grade in the Fall of 2021
Per the Ohio Department of Health, all students entering the 7th grade must provide documentation of receiving the Tdap and Meningococcal (MCV4) vaccines before being allowed to enter junior high next year. You may send the record of receiving these immunizations to your School Nurse until the end of this school year.
The Nationwide Children's Hospital Mobile Clinic comes to either Harmon Middle School or Tussing Elementary on certain Wednesdays during the month. They are also in other areas on the east side for other days of the week. If your 6th grader still needs the required immunizations to enter 7th grade, they can be completed at the Mobile Clinic.
--See attached flyer for the contact information to set up an appointment if needed.
If you have any questions, please contact your School Nurse.
