Please use this resource with your child at home with the help of technology. These are some great sites and activities that your child can access from home to reinforce skills they are learning at school.
What programs does my child use at school?
MobyMax
MobyMax-is a FUN and interactive site that creates learning paths for students based off of a pretest. Mobymax allows students to practice specific areas that are struggling with. This program allows them to practice math, language, reading, vocabulary, math facts, and more. You can login as a parent and check your child's progress at any time.
ConnectED-Reading Textbook Online
ConnectED-is the site for our online reading textbook. Students can log in and read the same stories they are reading in class, practice vocabulary terms, or even play skill based games.
Compass Odyessy-STE Only
Compass Odyessy-Eagleville Middle and High School has Compass in which students are given assignments by their teacher in various subjects and they complete them using interactive games and exercises. This program is developed to meet the individual needs of every student.

Learnzillion, Khan Academy, and BrainPop to the Rescue...
Even as a teacher, sometimes I need a little "review" to help my own children with their homework.
- Learnzillion is a fabulous, FREE resource that will let you (and your student) view videos on thousands of topics.
- Khan Academy-hosts over 3,000 instructional videos and practices exercises for students to practice math for free.
- Brainpop and Brainpop Jr.-is a group of educational websites with over 1,000 short animated movies for students in grades K-12, together with quizzes and related materials for ALL subjects.

Common Sense Media
Do you want to know if this year's blockbuster contains profanity? Does your child's favorite game run inappropriate advertisements? Check out Common Sense Media's site. You can look up reviews and ratings for movies, TV shows, websites, games, etc and also go through internet safety lessons and topics with your student.
Time for a Brain Break
Storm rolling through? Too hot/cold to play outside? Visit Go Noodle for calming and energizing activities. Learn deep breathing in the "Flow" section or dance along with some energizing music. Create a parent account and let the fun begin. These "brain breaks" are just what you need!
