Mustang Minutes

Nurture. Collaborate. Own

Scarborough's Summary

Only 8 more days with students!

Enjoy the end of the year----Jeans are allowed for the remainder of the year! This will be the last official Mustang Minutes for the year. All future news for the remainder for the year will be shared on email as needed.

On the first day of post-planning, (5/26) we will call down grade levels to put final report cards in permanent records and create class files for the upcoming year. This will take about 20-30 min.

Also on this day, we will have a end of year staff cookout at 11:00 on the bus ramp. This will be a time to celebrate the year and start the summer with a bang! All staff are expected to attend.

Looking forward....did you know RES turns 50 this year? We are going to have a 50th birthday party for our school when we return in the fall. We will be inviting back former RES teachers and the community. We look forward to a fun event!

Kudos Korner from the Admin Team

Kudos to the ESOL team for their work getting ACCESS scores to parents and in permanent files!

Custodian Closet

Pat is out this week and some of next week so please see another custodian with any concerns.

Technology Tips

The Student Information Team is creating new promotion codes for 3rd-5th grades as "Promoted Pending Tests" is no longer applicable. Please do not use this code when finalizing your grades.

Grades should be finalized before you leave on Monday, the 16th. The end of the year report card process is a little different, so please pay careful attention to all grade reporting emails.

Coaches' corner

There's still time to register for vision....

Vision will focus on the three essential components of literacy workshop that will include specific instructional strategies that will target the architecture of the mini-lesson and conferring in grades K-12.
