Event/ General Information

FL Trip Contribution #1 Reminder

The first trip contribution in the amount of $200 is due on Friday, March 31. Contributions can be sent in via the following ways:



  • Fundraising (March Forth, Noto's Hoagies, Scrip Gift Cards)
  • Check (made out to IMA) & placed in lockbox
  • Online

IMA Scholarship Information - DUE APRIL 04

*Attention ALL Seniors*


The IMA will once again award six $1,000 scholarships this year to the seniors in the instrumental music program. The IMA Scholarship Application will be available Tuesday, February 7, on the EAHS Scholarship Website at scholarships.eastonsd.org.


The application and recommendations will be submitted online this year. The deadline to return the application is Tuesday, April 4, 2023.

2023 - 2024 Color Guard Audition Information

We are preparing for our color guard clinics for the 2023 - 2024 school year! Any students interested in joining the color guard should click on this link for more information.

Clinics will take place on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 6 - 8 PM (more details found within the link above).


We hope to see you at the first clinic on 3/28! Spread the word!

UPDATED: Electrify Your Strings Information

On Monday, April 03 - Tuesday, April 04, our orchestra program will be participating in an "Electrify Your Strings" event. We are bringing in a guest clinician who will work with our 6 - 12 EASD orchestra students.


The experience will culminate in a concert on Tuesday, April 04 at 7:00 PM in the MS auditorium. This concert will be a rock-infused concert, with electronic sounds & electric string instruments, along with covers of famous rock tunes!


This is a ticketed event! Tickets are $5 in advance, $10 at the door. To purchase tickets, please visit our website.

This is a NEW event for our program & we can't wait to share it with you!


Rehearsals:

EAHS students will rehearse at EAMS on Monday, April 03 from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. & Tuesday, April 04 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. (transportation provided).


Concert Report Time: 6:00 p.m. at EAMS.


Attire: jeans, orchestra t shirt

2023 Instrumental Music Banquet - DUE MAY 01, 2023

As the school year begins to come to a close, we are looking forward to our annual end-of-year banquet! The banquet is a time when our instrumental music program comes together to celebrate the accomplishments of our students. It is a formal event where every student gets recognized.

It is truly a great event!

In order to make this event a success, we need YOUR help! Every student MUST RSVP saying whether they will or will not attend. There are TWO ways to do this:



  1. All families were mailed invitations via USPS this past week. Complete the hard copy invitation and follow the return instructions.
  2. Complete the online RSVP option at https://eahsmusic.org/.



Event Details:


DATE: Sunday, June 04, 2023


TIME: 2:00 PM


LOCATION: The Palace Center (Allentown, PA)


COST: Free for all students; guests of students $40/ person


RSVP: every students should RSVP by May 01, 2023

Band/ Orchestra Picture Day information

Individual photos for ALL band & orchestra students will take place the week of March 27. Students will be given a specific day for their picture w/ instructions regarding uniforms.


If you wish to order pictures, please see the flyer below. EVERY STUDENT will have their picture taken for our annual group composites.

We are once again selling flowers as we prepare for spring! This sale includes both physical plants AND coupons if you wish to pick out your own flowers!

Please see the details below on this fundraiser! As a reminder, 50% of all profits will go towards student contributions for the FL and/ or Germany trips.

Designer Purse Bingo!

Come join us for this year’s IMA Designer Purse Bingo! This important fundraiser for the IMA offers a fun time of playing bingo to win some high-quality purses while also trying your luck at some handsome door prizes and tricky tray items. Tell all your family and friends.


  • Date: Sunday, May 7, 2023

  • Time: Doors open at 10:30 a.m.; games begin at 12:00 p.m.

  • Location: Easton Area High School cafeteria

  • Tickets: $30.00 per ticket


To make this bingo fundraiser a real success, the IMA needs your help. To volunteer, contact Kathy Raub at bingo@eahsmusic.org or (610) 597-7473 to help with some of the following:


  • Get sponsors; organize tricky trays, purses, and door prizes; set up for the Designer Purse Bingo; check people in on the day of the event; sell bingo boards, tricky tray tray tickets, 50/50 tickets on the day of the event

Easton Area High School Instrumental Music

The Easton Area High School (EAHS) Instrumental Music Program has a long history of success. The program consists of nearly 380 students in grades 9 – 12 and encompasses marching band, three concert bands, three orchestras, two jazz ensembles, pep band, and pit orchestra.
