DECEMBER ATTRIBUTE OF THE MONTH: COMMUNICATOR
Students who are Communicators express their ideas by speaking, drawing, and writing. They communicate through music, dance, and drama. Language is key to expressing themselves and they can communicate in more than one language. Being a good listener is an important part of communicating with others too.

We would like to extend extra special thanks to Robert Brewster, who sponsored Ms. Imtiaz's entire class and Grayson Miller, III, who sponsored Ms. Liggins' entire class.
Your generosity is greatly appreciated!

MYP ID REMINDER
It is imperative that all MYP student has his/her ID on every day. It is a part of the Franklin Uniform Policy (page 19). Please speak with your scholar about placing the ID in their backpack as soon as school is over. This will eliminate losing the ID or leaving it at home.
As of this week, scholars are permitted to wear their badge on their own personal, school appropriate lanyard.
If a scholar does not have his/her ID, his/her PowerSchool account will be charged $10.00 that day. The fee(s) can be paid through a money order or check given to your scholar to give to the office, or on PowerSchool by clicking "Fee" and making a note that the payments is for the MYP ID.
Thank you!
We utilize the Google Single Sign-On tool for access to HMH apps. As such, our scholars and parents often run into conflicts with personal Gmail/Google accounts.
To avoid this please download the Clever extension. This add-on is required for the single sign-on to function properly.
For Families: Installing the Clever Browser Extension

For scholars to access the HMH products at home, it is very important that the parent log out of their (or anyone else who is sign in) personal Gmail accounts before their child logs into Clever.
Then access https://clever.franklin-academy.org with either a Clever badge or the Franklin-provided student username/password.
