Parsons 2021 Spelling Bee
Parsons held the 2021 Spelling Bee on Thursday and our 10 contestants were A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! The 10 contestants won their class Spelling Bee and then went on to participate in the Parsons Elementary 2021 Spelling Bee!!

December Dress Up Challenge
GCPS Hosts Vaccination Clinics @ Peachtree Ridge HS on December 6th!
GCPS encourages our community to learn more about COVID-19 vaccinations and take advantage of opportunities to get vaccinated. In an ongoing partnership with the Gwinnett Health Department and other health partners, GCPS continues to host vaccination clinics at high schools around the county during December. No appointment is necessary. Participants will receive the Pfizer vaccine, which requires two shots. Those who are eligible for a booster shot and who completed their initial vaccine series (Pfizer, Moderna, or Johnson & Johnson) at least six months ago also may attend a vaccine clinic. This opportunity is available to anyone eligible for the vaccine, ages 12 and older. Students ages 12 to 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Interpreters will be on site. For more information on COVID vaccinations, go to the health department website.

Empty Stocking Fund
Empty Stocking Fund Holiday Help for Families: Registration is now open.
Step 1: Register
All children who are receiving any form of public assistance are eligible to receive gifts from The Empty Stocking Fund. There is no application process. Simply visit www.emptystockingfund.org/holiday-gifts or click here to register. Proof of benefits is required.
Step 2: Shop
Within two weeks of submitting registration and acceptable proof of benefits, families will receive an email letting them know that their shopping link has been activated.
Step 3: Pick Up Your Gifts
Thanks to distribution partners like the YMCA of Metro Atlanta, ESF is able to get gifts closer to families! When families submit their order they will be given an opportunity to choose when and where to pick up the gifts.
