LADY JUSTICE

Lady Justice is the Roman goddess of Justice, who is equivalent to the Greek goddess Themis is an allegorical personification of the moral force in judicial systems. Her attributes are a blindfold, a balance and a sword.

JUSTICE MEANING

Roman Justice is connected to life, liberty, and pursuit of life. Traditional Roman law, systemized and interpreted by local jurists, were supplanted by vast tax-collecting bureaucracies in the A.D. 3rd and 4th century. The legal rights of women, children and slaves was strengthened.

PUNISHMENT

GETTING WHIPPED

Getting whipped is probally the worst punishment. If you ever broke the law, depending, then you will get whipped in public beacuse then the Romans demonstrated thats what happens when you break the law.

PUNISHMENT

Getting punished always depended on what you did, or what law you broke. These are some if the punishments Romans did to citizens, people, slaves, or whoever dared to break the law.

-Execution if guilty of treason

-Patricide-killing your father was punished by being drowned in the river

-Slaves were beaten, harder work, or often crucified
