Parents Night Out
The BGHS Publications staff is hosting another Parents Night Out! With so much success with the last one, another event was bound to happen. We are currently planning it for THIS Friday December 12th, just in time to get some last minute Christmas shopping done. Please contact Mr. Mark Folger at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested!
"Bracelets for Books" - Yearbooks, that is!
The Beech Grove High School yearbook staff has been working to ensure that the 2014-2015 yearbook will be well worth the purchase. This year, the book will be in full color! Currently, the yearbook staff is fundraising for the books. So far, they have done a parents night out where parents can get some time to themselves, with another one coming up on Friday, December 12th. Also, the staff is currently selling bracelets for the students and faculty members at BGHS during all three lunch periods. Small bracelets are $1, medium bracelets are $2, and large bracelets are $3. They are very good quality, and would make wonderful Christmas presents! If any student or faculty member is interested, see the yearbook table in the cafeteria during any lunch period. Support the Beech Grove High School yearbook staff today and help make the 2014-2015 yearbook great!

Santa Claus Customs
When we think of Christmas, what is one of the first things that pops in your head? Yeah, lights and gifts, but the usual icon for Christmas is Santa Claus! We see him everywhere at this time of year, but there once was a real “Santa." Ever wonder why we leave out cookies? Back in the 14th century, the real old Saint Nick made it a tradition to stop at people’s houses on Christmas Eve as they gave him nuts, apples, and sweets! As the tradition continued to go on, his name developed into Santa Claus. The story that he still stops by is one of the most common stories of all time.
