Small Robotics Team Wins Big
Please join PLTW teachers Jill Burgess and John Beam in congratulating our two robotics teams. They competed Saturday and were very successful.

Team 1 won first place in three of the four categories: autonomous programming, Ping Pong basketball (remote control challenge), and robot design/programming (judge interview). They took second place in the fourth category, on-site programming challenge.

Camp Red Dragon
Camp Red Dragon For children finishing-K through 8th grade students June 6 - 10, 2016 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM each day celebrating our 11th year!
Camp Red Dragon is led by Austin High School Directors Annie & Billy Dragoo and the AHS Theatre students. Registration includes script, costumes, royalties for performance, and a snack each day. Campers bring their lunch and are given time each day for a picnic lunch in the outside park next to the theater.
Students finishing Kindergarten through 8th grade attend classes in acting, music, and movement each morning and spend the afternoon rehearsing finishing with a public performance on an evening! This year our elementary focus is The Lion King. The middle school students will have their own sessions and performance. However, the title depends on the number of students that register.
