Thanksgiving Meal Offerings
Thankful for our Veterans!
Purdy students shared in our Veteran Day tribute and thanked our Veterans for their service. What a special time to thank those who defended the freedoms we have today!
Special thanks to our High School Taps players Cal Tamblyn and Ashlyn Wadsworth. Additional thanks to the American Legion Post 166, VFW 1879, Blackhawk Chapter Vietnam Veteran American 409 for leading our Military Salute.
School Reminders βοΈ
We are bringing back the all school family lunch! We are excited to offer this on Tuesday, December 19th! Please see the flier below in this newsletter. Return the form (sent home in your child's backpack Friday, November 21) if you are interested in joining. Please note, you will need to pre-register and pre-pay for any lunches on this day! Hope you can join us!
Please refrain from picking up in the bus lane. We need to keep this clear at 2:50 PM for the busses to be able to come in and pick up students. This is for the safety of all! Thank you for following this rule. EC, 4K and Headstart pick up happens before 2:50 so that is why you may see cars in there. It is not for K-5 pick up. The car loop is a safe lane for pick up (by staff lot). Thank you for helping to keep all safe at pick up!
As the weather turns colder, please make note of the coat rule. If the temperature is 49 degrees or below, we ask all students to have a coat. If they do not, we will attempt to find one for them to use from the office, or give you a call. Thank you for ensuring your child has a coat on cold days (we go out every day unless the temp with wind chill falls below zero, or it is raining).
There is NO SCHOOL Wednesday, November 22 through Friday, November 24. See you Monday, November 27th. Happy Thanksgiving.
