Principal's Message - Pick Up Procedures

Dear Falcon Families,

During pick up times, we are very focused on student safety. This requires taking the time to load and exit our busses before we can accommodate many of the parents waiting to pick up their child. I implore you to be patient, drive slowly, yield to cars pulling away from the curb and enter through the entrance.

In the coming weeks our loading process may be slowed even more as we expect rainy and snowy days. We are going to keep our loading areas the same, but will have our first and second graders wait under the covered hallways. The third and fourth graders will be waiting with their teachers in the gym and will exit the gym door nearest the kitchen. We still need parents to come curbside and not exit their vehicles. Again, have patience!

I understand that many families need to continue on to Sierra Ridge to pick up other children. The middle school understands that we are asking our families to take a few extra minutes here for safety reasons.

I appreciate your continued support!

Harvest of the Month - Pomegranates

Our school has a wonderful partnership with the Cal-Fresh program. Traditionally, the Cal-Fresh staff visit us each month to try seasonal produce. Unfortunately, given current restrictions, they are unable to visit us this year. I am pleased to share that they still provide us with their monthly nutrition newsletter and video. Enjoy the following information on pomegranates.
