Last Week of the 2020-2021 School Year!
Please note that the last day of school is June 17 and it is a 2-hour early dismissal.

8th Grade Picnic Reminder for Students
Students with last names Kern-Z should plan to attend the picnic on Tuesday, June 15.
Students with last names A-Kennedy should plan to attend the picnic on Wednesday, June 16.
Those students who are currently virtual and indicated on the survey that they would be attending should plan to come on the appropriate day according to their last name. Students should plan to arrive no earlier than 11:00 AM. Please check into the main office and report to your homeroom.
Please remember to bring a small blanket or towel to sit on during the picnic, a hat, and sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun.

MATERIALS ON YOUR LIBRARY ACCOUNT
1. LAPTOPS WILL NOT BE RETURNED AT THE END OF THIS YEAR. You will need them for the 2021-2022 school year.
2. ELA NOVELS ARE ONLY DUE IF YOU HAVE FINISHED READING THEM IN CLASS. If you have finished the novels, they are due.
3. KAJEET HOTSPOTS (If you have one) ARE DUE BEFORE THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL.
4. Any library books you may have are due at this time. Please return these at your soonest convenience.

Summer Media Center Hours
The MBMS Media Center will be open this summer from 9:00 - 2:00 on the following dates for book checkout, computer usage, and a variety of makerspace (games, puzzles, robotics, art, etc.) activities:

2021-2022 School Year Virtual Interest Survey
On Friday afternoon, a letter was sent via email regarding the option of a Virtual Pathway program available during the 2021-2022 school year. SMCPS is providing a survey to determine who is interested in this program for next school year. The SMCPS Virtual program will offer courses for grades 3-12 and will utilize Schoology as the base platform, while incorporating synchronous sessions using video conferencing as well.
