Scheduling Parent Teacher Conference
Parents still have the opportunity to schedule parent/teacher conferences for November 19 and November 23. Due to COVID-19, parent/teacher conferences will take place via Zoom.
Parents have until November 16th to schedule conferences through ParentVUE.
To schedule your conference, log in to ParentVUE and select “Conference” from the menu on the left side to see the times available. Once you have scheduled your conference, you can click “Email Schedule” to have the details emailed to you. Watch this short video to see a step-by-step guide for scheduling your conference.

Save the Date-Online Book Fair
The Scholastic Book Fair is back! While the Fair will be exclusively held online this year, we still plan on making it a fun and joyous experience for our kids.
The Online book fair starts on Monday, November 30th and ends on Sunday, December 13th. There are tons of books to choose from and all books will be delivered to your house!

Parent University
The COVID-19 pandemic has created challenges for many of our District 204 families. In an effort to raise awareness of community resources available to assist families, District 204 will hold “Parent University: Community Resources” on Wednesday, November 18 at 7 pm. This event will be streamed live on the district’s YouTube channel and include a panel discussion focused on community agencies that provide services most needed by our families in our current environment. Parents can submit questions to be addressed during the webinar here.

Attendance
During remote learning parents/guardians need to report student absences if they are unable to participate in virtual class. Please follow the instructions below to report any absences during remote learning.
Remote Learning Absence Instructions:
In ParentVUE please select the day(s) for which the student will be absent – full day, half day, or a schedule period of time.
Enter a reason for the absence,
Enter in any addition information in the note section - ie; time of arrival or dismissal, if your student is leaving for an appointment and returning, please indicate the time your student will be absent.
Click submit.
If you are unable to access your ParentVUE to report your student absences, call the attendance line @ 1-630-428-6114 and leave a message.
Creativity Feature
We want to see what creative work your students are doing while learning remotely!
Send in a picture and brief description to the email below and your student can be featured on our morning announcements. We are so excited with the number of submissions we have received! Please know that we will display all of the creative work, but it may take a couple of weeks. We plan to continue the koala creativity feature when we transition to Hybrid Learning.
Chromebook Support
