Welcome!
Click the arrow above for the back-to-school message from Superintendent Brockett, which includes an overview of the district's new, three-year strategic plan.
First Day of School!
The first day of school for most students is Monday, August 28. Pre-K, 10th, 11th and 12th grade students begin Tuesday, August 29.
Middle school students all start on Monday, August 28, but 7th and 8th graders will begin at 12:30 p.m., and 6th graders will attend on the usual school schedule.
Attached below is a printable academic calendar for the 2023-24 school year.
Late Start Wednesdays for K-12
Reminder: K-5 elementary students will move to a Wednesday late start schedule this school year. On Wednesdays, elementary schools will begin at 9 a.m. and release at the usual 2:30 p.m. time.
This change was made, with family input, to align elementary schedules with those of the middle and high schools.
Middle schools begin at 9:20 a.m. on Wednesdays and high school at 9:30 a.m.

If your child attends Memorial or MHS, you must apply to receive no-cost meals.
If your family does not qualify for no-cost meals, click here to see meal prices for your Memorial or MHS student.
Bus Information and Routes
The 2023-24 bus routes are coming soon. A ParentSquare message will be sent to registered bus families when the routes are posted
If you think your student may be eligible for busing and you haven’t yet registered, get started here.
Back-to-School Anxiety
If your student is nervous about starting the new school year, here is some information that can help lessen their anxiety.
ParentSquare
ParentSquare is the primary way the district, schools and teachers communicate with families.
If you would like to communicate directly with your students’ teachers or set notification or language preferences, you must first register. Here’s a short video that shows you how.
Once registered, you can manage your account settings and more. Find out how here.
Looking for Four-Year-Olds
Do you have (or know of) a child who will be four by September 1? We still have room in our pre-K programs.
Find out more here.
Back to School Shopping
If you haven’t picked up school supplies yet, here’s a link to the lists.
What is Peachjar?
Peachjar is an electronic flyer delivery system. The flyers are emailed directly to families and posted under the blue Peachjar button on school websites. This is how families are notified of district sports camps, McMinnville Library and Parks & Rec activities, and more.
Families do not need to sign up to receive flyers from Peachjar.
