Weekly Message
Dear Raleigh Hills Community,
First, I want to thank you for all of the kindness you showed the staff during staff appreciation week. You went above and beyond to make us feel special even at a distance. We simply cannot thank you enough for the notes, flowers, gifts and signs. This community embraces us and we are so appreciative of the additional effort it must have taken this year. So on behalf of the entire staff, THANK YOU!
I continue to be blown away by the work that is coming in. Thank you parents and guardians for playing such an integral role in your students' education during this time of distance learning. I've heard of so many innovative schedules and ways that parents are connecting with the assignments their students have. The best way to know what assignments are due or have been completed is to take 5 minutes and have your child explain to you where this information is located in their account. You can set up a routine time to check in on that each day or each week.
Hang in there everyone! We are really looking forward to when we will be able to see you and your students in person again.
Warm regards,
Jennifer

Pick Up of Student Belongings
We will have our final pick up on May 15th for last names beginning with N-Z. This is for all students K-8. Please use the lower lot for pick up. You will drive up and tell us who you're picking up for. A staff member will bring your student's things and set them on a table and back away. Then you can jump out and get your student's belongings and take them home. We will not be able to return any unlabeled items. If we're not sure who it belongs to, we will store it here. When school opens up again, we will have a day for families to come and claim unlabeled items. All items will be bagged for you. No one other than BSD staff are allowed in the building at this time.

Donate to BSD Community Resources Fund
The Beaverton School District is now accepting donations from the greater Beaverton community to support community-wide efforts to provide food boxes, toiletries and other essential items to our families during this emergency situation. Food Banks are working hard to remain stocked to feed communities. There are many Beaverton families who struggle economically even in the best of times, and this fund will enable the Beaverton School District to work with community partners to serve our families. We use this fund to triple the buying power and thus increase the amount of families we can serve, a number that increases daily. Pass this on to friends and neighbors (we can also honor matching dollars!)
