Parents & Guardians:

This past week we had the pleasure once again of honoring our local veterans. For years, Mrs. Potter, with the help of multiple staff members, have guided our students to help recognize the importance of Veterans’ Day. It’s always great when we can tie in a real-life history lesson and also recognize local men and women for their service to our great country. Our staff, student singers, student band members, speakers and all others involved, all did an amazing job making this assembly a true platform of recognition and respect for the men and women who have, and are currently, serving our country.

I always take advantage of this opportunity to greet our veterans, and I make sure to listen to their stories, which are a true version of history. It was truly a wonderful assembly and a special thanks go out to Mrs. Potter our veterans and everyone who made this event so special.

We have a short week ahead leading into Thanksgiving break. Our next Parent eNews will come out Wednesday of this week, and we will have a special feature leading into our break.

Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend.

Notification System - One Call (Delays & Cancellations)

With the potential of bad weather right around the corner, we will run the risk of delays and cancellations. At the end of last year, we moved toward sending off text messages infoming parents of delays or cancellations. If you want to receive a call, you need to list a land line. Our system is defaulted to automatically send a text to a cell number. Land lines are slowly fading out of the picture; however if you still want to receive a call, please be sure that your land line is listed. If you need assistance updating your information, please e-mail Mrs. Andre at or Mrs. Kasierski at

Community Connections Project – Annual Food Drive Campaign

With the help of Cutter Beck and his family, we delivered 28 boxes of donated food items to CHIP-IN on Friday afternoon. It’s always a special feeling when we can connect with our community in such a positive way. A BIG thank you goes out to everyone who donated non-perishable food items. At Wednesday night’s school committee meeting, we will present all monetary donations to Darlene Emco-Rollins, Director of CHIP-IN. It’s always a special night when we see just how much we can impact this program through the generosity of many volunteers – THANK YOU!
