Startin' life off, the right way!
When Mia Hamm was 14 she was already getting noticed by professional coach, named Anson Dorrance. She had been playing soccer throughout highschool, she had started loving soccer wehn she was only 4 years old, she would go to professional games and dribble her own ball around on the sidelines. When she was 5 she was thrilled to start playing on league teams. John Cossaboon coached Mia on a developmental team, the team was made up of the country's best high school and collage teams. After a year of playing on a developmeantal team, Cossaboon thought it was time to move her up to a national team. That team was coached by Anson Dorrance.
