Meet the Teacher!

Hello! Welcome to Kindergarten! Let me start by saying how grateful I am to be able to work with your child this year! I am looking forward to sharing and engaging in the learning process with both you and your child! I have included my information at the bottom of this letter, so please contact me at any time. I would love to hear from you!

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you. Hi! My name is Tonya Cook.

I have taught for 25 1/2 years! I currently hold a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and a Bachelor's Degree in Science. I am certified to teach k-6 Elementary Education, and k-12 in Science and Reading. I have also received the honor of becoming a National Board Certified Teacher. I have a passion to work with children and am thrilled to be continuing my career as a teacher! With that said, I am very excited to see what this year has in store! I look forward to working with you and your child along their education journey!
