Spartan Celebrations
Choir
Two of our CHS Choir Members participated in the final audition for the Texas All-State Choir at Keller Central High School. Students competing in this year's audition represented some of the finest student musicians from across the DFW Metroplex. Of the more than 2,700 students in our area who started the process in September, 72 were selected to represent their schools and programs at TMEA this February. Selected from Centennial High School to represent our school in the Texas All-State Men's Choir are Caleb Jones & Jacob Chitwood. Congratulations to both of these young men on their selection to the All-State Men's Choir. We wish you the best as you represent CHS in San Antonio at TMEA next month!

Advanced Placement
Taking the Advanced Placement exam is an important part of all AP courses. Centennial High School expects that all students take AP exams for the AP classes they take. Participating in AP Exams will give the student valuable college level testing experience. In addition to the academic experience, scoring well on an AP exam could earn students college credit for their high school class, saving a significant amount on tuition.
AP Exam Registration and payment will be open Monday, February 6, 2017 - Thursday, February 9, 2017.
AP exams are $93 per exam. The district is assisting to lower the cost to $63 per exam for students. CHS will pay for additional exams after the first three for students enrolled in the courses for the 2016-2017 school year. If the student has qualified for free/reduced lunch program, the exam price will be $17 per exam.
*AP Capstone fees are $141 with the district assistance lowering the cost to $108. AP Capstone fees for students on Free/Reduced lunch will be $62.
