One behalf of the Towson and Hereford’s One Love Club we want to thank everyone for their support in our first lacrosse dedication game. This event was able to raise $425 to support the One Love Foundation! We are hoping to make this an annual event between our schools and couldn’t have done it without your support! The feedback we received from parents and fans was very touching and they were happy to donate to this cause. Thanks again for all your support!

Our kids are amazing! Just wanted to thank Caroline Zappas and Maggie Grandsire for organizing and running our ASA event. Learn about ASA by going to http://www.athletesservingathletes.org/
All returning student-athletes are invited to a free workshop on May, 29th at 2:30 in the Towson High School Auditorium. The seminar for student-athletes teaches them how to become at Triple-Impact Competitor, impacting sport on three levels by working to improve oneself, teammates, and the game as a whole. For example: improving oneself draws on principals of Mastery of Sport, where emphasis lies on effort, learning, and bouncing back from mistakes; improving teammates ties to Filling Emotional Tanks with the right mix of truthful, specific praise and constructive criticism; and improving the game as a whole means advancing the sportsmanship values by Honoring the Game.

Girls Lacrosse
Girls varsity lacrosse has had a memorable and meaningful spring season. In the classroom the girls earned an impressive 3.54 team GPA, with over half the team earning a 3.5 or higher. Off the field they also contributed to their community by hosting the 7th annual Kelly Post Clinic for girls, teaching fundamental lacrosse skills and having fun through sports. Several girls also volunteered their time with the Maryland School for the Blind, a wonderful partnership with the boys team and Parkville Adaptive Lacrosse. They also helped raise funds for One Love through a tournament at the Bryn Mawr School and the dedication game with Hereford. This spring, girls varsity lacrosse has really put the student in student-athlete.
Thank you Seniors!
