Join us in celebrating Hispanic Heritage month from September 15th-October 15th!
¡Hola!
In Spanish, we continue to explore heritage (inherited traditions, values, culture and art, foods, music, etc). We are learning about Hispanic Heritage (celebrated September 15th-October 15th) as well as sharing our own! Many students take great pride in their heritage and are excited to learn about their classmates' heritage too.
Here are two short NFL commercials celebrating and honoring Hispanic Heritage Month.

Notice from the District: No Lunch Guests at This Time
We know that many of our families have enjoyed the opportunity to eat lunch with their student(s). However, due to safety and space limitations in some of our schools, district administration has made the difficult decision to keep our student lunches closed to all outside guests at this time.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and encourage you to look for other opportunities to engage with your student(s), their class, and our schools. There are many ways to get involved!
Please call SCE at 317-915-4270, email your child's teacher, email Mrs. Zaleski in the Library, or reach out to our PTO at sandcreekPTO@gmail.com to learn more about the volunteer opportunities available at SCE.
Good Luck to our Spell Bowl Team! Yuv, Brynn, Meila, Kameron, Audrey, Abigail, Murage, Emilio, Mia, Ellie, Colin, and coaches Mrs. Labellarte and Mrs. Lanane

Social emotional learning (SEL) is the process through which children and adults acquire and apply skills necessary to understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions.
Hamilton Southeastern Schools believes that these skills, along with academic knowledge, will prepare our students to succeed in life beyond their school years.
Social and emotional skills are often referred to as one’s emotional intelligence or EQ. According to CASEL there is growing research that suggests the IQ and EQ are connected and both critical in the development of the “whole child.” Research shows that students with strong SEL skills have increased academic performance and are less likely to engage in risk taking behaviors.
Lost it? It May Be Here!
Our lost and found fills up quickly!
We make every effort to reunite labeled items with their owners.
Your student can check the Lost and Found in the mornings on the way in from the bus.
Families that would like to check the Lost and Found must come to the Main Office.
Fishers Youth Assistance Program
Fishers Youth Assistance Program (FYAP) is offering a free weekend snack program for any student attending Hamilton Southeastern Schools who qualifies for the reduced lunch program or has an increased need currently. Snacks will be delivered to schools each week and sent home with students.
