SEBB Special Open Enrollment Event
If you have a life event....
What is a considered a "life" event?
- Marriage or Divorce
- Dependent loses coverage.
- Dependent gains coverage.
- Child becomes your dependent through legal custody or legal guardianship
- Birth of child

Special Enrollment event changes must be submitted and completed in SEBB My Account no later than 60 days after the qualifying life event. The start date for coverage will be determined by whichever of these dates is later: 1) life event or 2) date entered into SEBB My Account. Coverage starts the first of the month after the latest date.
Proof of the life event must also be submitted when completing the Special Open Enrollment in SEBB My Account.
Completing a Special Open Enrollment Event
If so, you need to take action. Log into your SEBB My Account, complete the Special Open Enrollment Event, and upload necessary documentation. Refer to the SOE Matrix Addendum below for specifics on qualifying "life" events. Please use the Special Open Enrollment User Guide to help you complete your event.
