The simplest remedy for migraines
The next time you try to quit painkillers headaches and drink a glass of water, Dutch doctors advise us.
Regular consumption of water throughout the day can reduce the severity of headaches and migraines (a more severe form of headache, associated with other symptoms such as nausea and photophobia)
Researchers found that seven glasses of water a day would be enough to relieve pain and improve quality of life in patients suffering from migraines regularly.
In 2005, scientists at the University of Maastricht, the Netherlands, were the beneficial effect of water when a patient who is advised to drink more water to a bladder problem said that when she started to do work, headaches subsided.

The study, coordinated by dr. Marck Spigt was conducted on a sample of 100 patients suffering from frequent severe headaches or mild. Experts have recommended them to reduce the level of stress they are exposed to daily, avoid caffeine and improve their sleep schedule. The aeamenea, half of the patients who took part in the study were asked to consume 1.5 liters of water per day more than normal.
At the end of the study, patients completed a questionnaire called the Migraine-Specific Quality of Life Index, which aimed to assess how they felt. Following the test, it was found that those who consumed more water obtained higher scores.
"We believe that some of the individuals who suffer from migraines might be beneficial to a higher consumption of water, which is why we encourage them to try this method for a short period of time, to see how they feel," said experts in their work.
Dr. Fayyaz Ahmed, the organization Migraine Trust in the UK, believes relieve headaches in those who consumed more water could be due to the placebo effect, but says he's still healthy to maintain a good level of hydration organmismului and that this might make people feel better in general.
