Sit as a family and generate a list of 25 things you would like to do or accomplish as a family this year.

ATTENDANCE CHALLENGE: November 4 - December 20

We are looking forward to crushing our campus attendance goal of 97%!

Students who meet this goal (November 4 - December 20) will be invited to an attendance party on Dec. 20th with admin.

To meet the goal, students can not have more than 1 absence. Leaving early or missing any period counts as an absence.


MEF is honoring MISD employees again this year through the STAR EDUCATOR program. Deadline is November 8, 2019.

Veterans Day: November 11

BBI will be hosting two Veterans Day assemblies on Monday, November 11. 6th grade will attend the 1:00 p.m. assembly and 5th grade will attend the 2:00 p.m. assembly. We would love to honor you or a Veteran close to you on this day. Please plan to sign in at the front office with a valid driver's license.

2019 TURKEY TROT Color Run

BBI PTO will be hosting the Turkey Trot Color Run on Friday, November 22, 2019!

Information was sent home with students on Monday, October 28. Be on the lookout for this packet of information in your child's backpack.

The packet includes:

  • a schedule of events
  • fundraiser goals & awards
  • color run information and permission slip
  • fundraiser pledge sheet
  • parent participation registration form
  • the opportunity to purchase yard signs to encourage your child

BBIS General Information

Our doors open each morning at 7:20 a.m. Students may exit vehicles once the doors open and can walk along the sidewalk that runs parallel to the front of the school building.

Early morning child care begins at 6:30 a.m. and all students must be enrolled online through the MISD website.

The first bell rings at 7:55 a.m. and the tardy bell rings at 8:00 a.m. The instructional day begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 3:10 p.m.
